major transition.

Very soon major parts of my life are going to change. The thought of getting married to someone is very nerve-wracking for me. This lifetime commitment makes me tremble, only because I know that I am not that good at handling any general commitments.
I just normally don't like to feel like I'm being tied to anything/heavy responsibilities (at least for too long), BUT it's totally different with my love life. Somehow we survived our relatively long roller-coaster relationship. The time flew, the journey was beyond amazing with him...and here we are in front of the life-changing gate.

My excitement is rising because we are reaching a new milestone. It is a fresh starting point for us! I can't wait for the many things we have postponed and want to do together after the wedding.
To realize our life plans and dreams without anymore setbacks (hopefully) :D
We are ready for more amazing things! ;)

And because this feels like a perfect timing for doing big changes in all parts in my life (I am overly excited I guess), I decided to do a slight make-over on my blog too.

As you can see, I changed the blog name from 'Single Door Secrets' to 'August Days'.
I just wanted a simple, lighter name that can be seen as a personal diary where I share thoughts and stories that I rarely talk about when talking to friends face-to-face, and at the same time doesn't sound too much fashion-related (coz I am not an expert).

Why August?
Besides August is my birth-month (so it's a lot more me), by Google, August also means "respected, impressive, celebrated.." followed by all other big words.
With this name, I really hope that I will have many big impressive days to be celebrated in my life onwards :D
And of course I want to share those august memories, thoughts and inspirations here.
Sshh.. No more 'secrets' ;P
